Dan Thorsland is not unique.

Far from it, he is an introverted geek, who by sheer luck and the good will of many good people, has managed to extend his childhood into three industries where being an adult is more liability than prerequisite.

Despite this good fortune, he has a mortgage, a kid, a wife and all the other bits of life that force him to understand what undercapitalised means. And maybe come to grips with it.

This is his message in a bottle. To all those good people who shared their astonishing talents with him over the years, and to folks at the bank who would rather he put his mind to working in the defence industry.
